Undergraduate

  • Digital Photogrammetry
      This is a digital version of photogrammetry. It deals with digital images instead of hard copy print of photos. Image processing including image mensuration, enhancement, representation transformation, and its system, feature extraction, ortho-photo production technique, and techniques of viewing stereoscopically and map making are the topics of the lecture.
  • 3D Image Engineering
      Demand for advanced video engineering technology and engineers is rapidly increasing due to the explosive increase in demand for video such as satellite image, aerial image, UAV, CCTV image, and smart phone image. In this course, students are expected to understand the basic theories of photogrammetry for extracting 3D spatial information from 2D images and apply theory to real images to extract 3D spatial information with programming.
  • Data Structure
      In order to efficiently handle a large amount of data, students will learn abstract data structures such as stacks, ques, sequences and trees and algorithms dealing with data structures and memory management. Using Java language, students will implement data structures and alogithms using and object-oriented design paradaigm.
  • Applcation Software Design and Development
      This course provides basic softarwe engineering concepts and techniques required for analysing, designing, implementing and testing large-scaled software development tasks, including requirement specifications, cost analysis, configuration control, quality assurance.

Graduate School

  • Computer vision for Geoinformatics
      This course provides graduate students with the knowledges about generating spatial images such as satellite and aerial images, analysis in furier domain, transfer function, basic of automatic spatial information obtainment, edge and boundary detection, and pattern recognition. At the end of this couse, students will analysze the result by applying contents studied before to real spatial images.
  • Geometric Correction of Satellite Images
      For correction of geometrical distortion that is indwelled in satellite image, this course provides graduate students with the knowledges about imaging method, sensor models of satellite images, coordinate system, forward mapping, resampling kernel, precise geometric correction, and orthocorrection.
